This application is part of a set of three applications simultaneously submitted by the applicant for the renewal of the authorisation of
a) existing food additives produced from this GMO that were authorised under Directive 89/107/EEC and feed produced from this GMO, i. e. feed additives lawfully placed on the market under Directive 70/524/EEC (this application);
b) feed consisting of and/or containing this GMO that were lawfully authorised under Directive 90/220/EEC (Commission Decision 98/294/EC, application C/F/95/12-02), including the use of seed for cultivation (application EFSA-GMO-RX-MON810 (8.1.b-20.1.b);
c) existing food and food ingredients produced from this GMO that have been placed on the market in accordance with Article 5 of Regulation (EC) No 258/97 (application EFSA-GMO-RX-MON810 (8.1.a))
After the date of the entry into force of Regulation (EC) No 1829/2003, products of a) and c) were notified to the Commission pursuant to Article 8(1)(a) and (b) and Article 20(1)(b) of that Regulation and included in the Community Register of genetically modified food and feed.
The placing on the market of pollen produced from maize MON810 is scope of a separate application and is now authorised by Commission Implementing Decision 2024/1828 of 2 July 2024 and is therefore not scope of this application.
Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2017/1207 of 04 July 2017 is repealed with Commission Implementing Decision 2022/1828 of 02 July 2024.
